It has never been more important to elect a Democrat for President in 2020, and also to participate in County, State and National elections and party activities. Party enrollment is required to participate in the important process of electing a Presidential candidate and all are welcome. You must be registered to vote in Hawai’i or become a registered voter to join the party.
Formerly known as the Hawai’i Democratic Party Presidential Preference Poll - the format is entirely changing for the better in 2020! The plan was designed with substantial input from Hawai’i party members statewide and is intended to maximize party member participation.
Also new, party members will participate in Ranked Choice Voting — choosing their top three (3) candidates though at this point, only two candidates remain in the race - Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders.
Most of the early Presidential Candidates appear on the Party-Run Presidential Primary Ballot due to early printing deadline.
