You are invited to help plan our Grand Rally, a longtime tradition in Hilo each election year!
Our first planning meeting will be Thursday, May 21st, 6:30-7:30pm on Zoom.

At this meeting we need your help making these 3 decisions:
1) Dates for the Grand Rallies. Potential dates are:
Primary: July 24, July 25, or Aug 7
General: Oct 17, Oct 18, or Nov 2
The Mo'oheau Bandstand is currently available on all these dates
2) Do we want a Grand Rally for both Primary & General, or just one? We approved a budget for both, but I'd like our group to discuss and make a recommendation on this.
3) To pay for the Rally, do we seek sponsorship from candidates (as usual) or try to find a single sponsor for the event and not charge the candidates to participate?
One more thing I'll mention - we need a volunteer to take the lead in planning the Grand Rally - scheduling meetings, keeping track of who is handling each planning task, etc. Please consider taking this role, and reach out to me if you'd like to learn more about it.
