With the eConvention Standing Rules and all other changes we have had to make, here are some of the important upcoming dates that I wanted to point out to cover the three (3) rounds of voting. 1st round is for the election of the National Delegates, 2nd & 3rd rounds take place during the electronic 2020 DPH State Convention - the 2nd round is for National Committeewoman/man and Presidential Electors & the 3rd round is for State Party Chair and State Central Committee Senate District Representatives. The instructions for each round of voting will sent via email to the appropriate delegates.
Thursday, May 21, 2020 – Deadline for District Councils to elect State Convention Delegates for 1st round of voting
Saturday, May 23, 2020 – Results of the 2020 Party-run Presidential Primary (PPP) announced
Wednesday, May 27, 2020 – Deadline to file:
· Nomination papers to run for National Delegate (Pledge of Support & Statement of Candidacy)
· Pledge of Support for Precinct Elected Delegates to vote for National Delegates***

Sunday, May 31, 2020 – Posting of names to the website for those running for National Delegate positions
Sunday, May 31, 2020 – Deadline for candidate filing for YDHI State Central Committee Members; election to be held by YDHI on June 7, 2020 independant of these rounds of voting
Friday-Monday, June 5-8, 2020 – Precinct Elected Delegates vote online for National District-level Delegates (Round 1)
Tuesday, June 9, 2020 – National District-level Delegates election results announced
Sunday, June 21, 2020 – Deadline for candidate filing for the following positions:
· State Central Committee Senate District Representative

Friday, June 26, 2020 – Deadline for District Councils to elect State Convention Delegates for 2nd & 3rd round of voting.
Wednesday, July 1, 2020 – Deadline for convention delegate registration with payment of $20 delegate fee
Saturday - Sunday, July 11-12, 2020– Opening of the electronic 2020 DPH State Convention and all State Delegates vote online for National Committeewoman/man and Presidential Electors (Round 2)
Monday, July 13, 2020 5:00 pm HST – Results announced for National Committeewoman/man and Presidential Electors; Convention is recessed
Friday, July 24-25, 2020 – Convention reconvenes for the voting for State Chairperson and State Central Committee Senate District Representatives (Round 3)
Sunday, July 26, 2020 at 5:00 pm HST – Results announced and adjournment of electronic 2020 DPH State Convention
Sunday, July 26, 2020 at 6:30 pm HST – State Central Committee Meeting for the election of SCC Officers (Vice Chair, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer, & Assistant Treasurer)
As you can see a lot of thought and planning has gone into this making this electronic 2020 DPH State Convention possible, so I want to thank everyone that worked on this.
