State Sen. Kai Kahele - Sen. Dist. 1 - has now formally resigned - effective today, Dec. 16, 2020, in order to transition to his newly elected position in the U.S. House of Representatives CD2. We wish him the best in this important new role in Washington, D.C.! The Hawai'i County Committee must now begin the process to replace Sen. Kahele.
