HCC is the elected islandwide leadership team of the Hawai’i County Democratic Party. The preliminary agenda for the Jan. 12 meeting includes planning for:
* Wed., March 4, 2020: Precinct Club Meetings islandewide - 6-8:30 p.m.
* Sat., April 4, 2020: Party-Run Presidential Primary (formerly known as the Hawai’i Democratic Party Presidential Preference Poll, or PPP). Party members only may participate but all invited to enroll in Party after registering to vote in Hawai’i prior to or on April 4. Democratic Party Presidential Primary ballots will be mailed out this year (a new procedure) in 2 waves - deadline to be sure you're registered and receive a mailed ballot is Feb. 18. However, a second wave of mailing will occur March 8. Thereafter, you must walk-in and vote on Sat., April 4. See locations below.

On Sat., April 4, there will be 5 locations on Hawai'i Island to walk-in, register to vote, update voter registration (if needed), enroll as a party member (if needed), and vote in Presidential Primary. See below for confirmed locations.
* Sat., April 11, 2020: 2020 County Convention Pre-Convention Meeting. Kealakehe High School Cafeteria. To become a State and/or County Convention Delegate, you should attend Precinct Club Meetings March 4, 2020 and get involved in the party.
* Sat., May 2, 2020: Hawai’i County Convention - Kealakehe High School. Cafeteria.
* Sat.-Sun., Mary 23-24, 2020: Hawai’i State Convention - Honolulu.

All Democratic Party members invited to all HCC meetings though only elected HCC members may vote.
